Tap with TDC faculty Mr Keith Leonhardt!

Mr Keith is a tap instructor and company director at Performing Arts Center of CT. A graduate of the jazz music program from the University of the Arts in Philadelphis, PA. He has studied with many famous tap dancers from all over the country such as Dianne Walker, Jason Bernard and Claire O’Donnell. He is on the faculty at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts and is currently the teaching artist for Jason Warley’s Man in Motion show. He is an adjudicator for several dance competitions and teaches master classes in Connecticut and Massachusetts. We are thrilled to have him with us again this summer and look forward to his classes and exciting style of tap.

Conditioning, Jumps/Leaps/Turns and Lyrical with TDC faculty Miss Jane Krantz!

Jane grew up training at the King Centre for the Performing Arts in Bergen County, New Jersey, where she performed and competed across the nation with the American Youth Dance Company. She attended the Hartt School on scholarship under the direction of Stephen Pier and holds a BFA in Dance Performance. Prior to completing her senior year, Jane was one of only three dancers from the United States to be selected to travel to Mexico City for the ArcDanz Professional Dance Program. After Graduation, Jane obtained her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification. She teaches yoga in the Hartford area, as well as teaching and choreographing at dance schools in CT, Boston and New York. Jane continues to dance professionally both nationally and internationally, along with freelancing for companies across the US including The Now Unboxing Project, Playhouse on the Park, and Comedy Central’s “Funny or Die” tour. She also dances and takes on the role as manager for The dance Collective. Most recently, she performed as a soloist in Edinburgh, Scotland at the 74Th Annual Choreographers showcase and the world renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We are thrilled to have Jane again this summer!

CONTEMPORARY with MISS LAUREN BARRETT!

Lauren grew up dancing at Robin Horneff’s Performing Arts Center now Studio L. Through the studio she trained with teachers Kelley Larkin, Gil Stroming (Break The Floor Productions), Larissa Saveliev (Youth America Grand Prix), Ray Leeper, Michelle Barber, Ricci Milan, Joe Lanteri, Mike Minery and Rose Ivory-Yamout. She has performed on “The View”, CBS morning show, ESPN, ESPN2 and in an American Express Commercial. She has been a member of two contemporary companies in NYC. Tracie Stanfield’s Synthesis Dance Project and Calen Kurka’s :pushing progress. She has performed at Capezio ACE awards, B.B. Kings NYC, Carnival Choreographer’s Ball, DUMBO Arts Festival, SoNo CT Arts festival, the Elan Awards, Broadway Dance Center, Bridge for Dance, Peridance and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She has performed with Busta Rhymes, Debbie Gibson, Ethan Stiefel and Sasha Radetsky. She previously taught Contemporary and Jazz at New Dance Group NYC before it’s closing and National Dance Showcase Conventions as well as choreographed for College of Charleston Dance Team, Ramapo College of New Jersey dance and at International Dance Day events. This past summer she was able to teach at “The Industry” an in- house CT convention, with some of the biggest names in the business and is currently in rehearsals as one of the professional dancers for “Connecticut’s Dancing With the Stars”. She loves working with all students and is so proud to watch them grow and shine!

1 1/2 hour class = $45.00 each

2 Hour class = $60.00
Individual Drop In Rates are $40.00 for 1 hour class and
$55.00 for 1 1/2 hour class.
ANY STUDENT THAT REGISTERS FOR ALL CLASSES OFFERED BY EACH TEACHER WILL RECEIVE A 15% DISCOUNT (SAVINGS OF OVER $100.00!!)

ALL FEES ARE DUE BY JUNE 3RD. THIS WILL ALLOW TEACHERS TIME TO PREPARE THEIR CLASSES AND SEE HOW MANY STUDENTS WILL BE IN EACH CLASS. IF THE CLASS SIZE IS TOO BIG ANOTHER CLASS WILL BE ADDED.
